A bit of a donkeySame method as all my kit brews, and yet it's disappointing. Redeeming quality? Fruity taste, apricots maybe. But what lets it down is it is overly yeasty, and consequently, cloudy. Meh. |

Great beer. light and refreshing. hints of fruit. we brew with brew enhancer 15 or 1.5kg of light malt. add 25 grams of halatua and 25 grams of cascade hops. i know people who had added 100grams and then dry hopped it. comes out much like a little creatures pale ale. the sediment can be slightly mixed it you want it cloude and it still tastes great! we use safale yeast - but hear its better with saflager at a colder temp and longer ferment. | |||

Balck Rock Pilsener BlondeAmen to that Kegboy. It's my standard housebeer. I add a kilo of ultrabrew, safelarger yeast and fiish with 12g of Saatz. I plan to replace the Ultrabrew with light malt this year. Cold conditioned one batc and produced a very clear brew. |

Excellent kit beer. In my opinion, the best from the Black Rock range. Good with just kit and kilo, even better with malts and finishing hops. I normally brew it with 500g dextrose, 500g light dry malt, 250g corn syrup and 12g Cascade finishing hops. Would benefit from using a Saflager yeast, but the kit yeast works well too. Produces a light, refreshing beer with slight fruit flavours. A great, regular brew to have in the fridge! |
