Nice LagerA little lacking in flavour, but a good crisp clean lager. I dont think you could go wrong with this one. |

Good'un!This was my last brew of 2014. Kit + NZ Lager adjunct + kit yeast. Temps around 25oC (southern hemisphere summer), finings before bottling.
It's crisp and refreshing, fabulous mouth feel, nice gas, clear as a bell. An absolute winner, especially when compared with its stablemate, BR Pilsener Blonde, which was a massive disappointment. |

Yeh not too badUsed brew with brewblend #20, golding finishing hops, a bit of crystal malt grain and saflager yeast. Brewed beer to high temperature and first taste was like dog poo. After 5 months its good colour, clear, good gas, and nice blend between the malt and hops. In future if using saflager yeast always brew it at low temperature! will do in next brew |

Black Rock Colonial LagerMy best brew ever. BRCL kit with 500grams light dried malt & 500 grams of CSR Brewing sugar and Brewiser yeast. Fermented at 26c for 7 days & bottled. Tasted at 2 weeks and it's going to be a supberb brew. May well be the only kit I will ever use in future. |
