Blackmagic baby.Method : 1.7kgs of Blackrock miners ale 500g's of dark dried malt 500g's of light dried malt. 500g'sof dextrose. Kit yeast No hops. Day 5 added half a bottle of creame de caco choclate essence. Review : Rich and intense chocolatey malt flavours. A great wintertime fire side ale. I've used Morgan's and Cooper's but this one in my opinion this is the superior stout kit. |

Stout Lover approved!I tried this for the first time. My first approach (with any stout) has evolved to: 1 can of brew 500 g of dark spray malt 23l total dextrose to reach 1.045 primary 4-5 days 21 degrees secondary 7-10 21 degrees primed with dextrose 2/3 cup slurried in 2 cups water Minimum 3 weeks in bottles at 21 degrees Results awsome. |

First StoutUsed this kit as the base for my first partial mash. Added the following- 500gms Dark Malt Extract, 1kg Dextrose,1kg crystal malt,30gms Fuggles as tea into primary. 6 days primary @ 19*c 3 days secondary after racking. Packs a punch and is a very complex beer, all that have tasted ( I don't like stout people) have asked to take a champers bottle home and have requested more. Superb ! |
