Good beer the easy wayPer instructions, with saflager s-23 yeast, brewed 3 wk at 14C. Good by 3 mths after bottling. Like other kits in this range, a husky taste, maybe grain, and a lemony tang. A few bottles then kept in the beer fridge at 4C for a year were quite superior, having lost all rough edges - the benefits of extended cold lagering. |

ExcellentMade with Wyest Pilsen Lager Yeast (#2007), 20g saaz 5' hop tea, made to 20 liters, OG 1040, FG 1006, fermented outside in Melbourne (5-15 degrees). A very good brew even just 2 weeks after bottling, it will be gone pretty soon. I'll do it again next winter (no brewfridge). |

Easy Easy DrinkingThought it was about time I tried one of these fresh wort kits and they have lived upto their rep. Came out as my best kit brew to date, super easy drinking brew, not as hoppy as it could be but just what I was after. brewed as is with wyeast danish lager. will be doing this one anytime my grain runs out. cannot wait to try the others. |

UninspiringUsed it pretty much straight to 20L with a little lemon peel. I expected the fresh wort would be ready to go but as other reviews have indicated, needs a hops addition. Should be great for the style with extra hops. |

GreatThis is my stock brew. A little bit more $$ than your normal kit but well worth it. Add water to bring it up to 20 litres. Use WLP001 for best results @ 18-20 deg. I steep 20g saaz for 5 mins and dump in the bottom of the keg then fill straight from primary. Gas. Drink !!!! Sensational !!! A huge 5/5 from me. |

E.S.B Pilsner Fresh Wort KitMade with WLP802 Czech Budejovice Lager. Made up to 20L. Fermented at 12c for two weeks. CC for 3 weeks. Added 15g Saaz in secondary.Kegged. Bloody brilliant. Lovely citrus notes. This beer would be one of the best i have made. It didnt last long it was too good. I tried St Arnou pilsner on tap at a pub and you would be hard pressed to pick the differnce between the two. If you have access to a brewing fridge and are able to ferment at teh required temp this is a must do. |
