Incredible. One of the best Beer-kits I have made.... I added 250g of spraymalt - OG 1055 - FG 1017. App 5.1 vol. % I used Mangrove Jacks Newcastle dark ale yeast instead of the standard. Started 08-06-2014. 10 days fermenting and cooling in fridge for the last 3 days - then bottled and set to carbonate for 1 week. Tasted it today - what a beer :-) already really good and clear with fine balanced bitternes - this will be even better after 2 weeks or more in the fridge. Highly recommended

Outstanding!Brewed as per instructions. Fermented at 22C for 8 days then bottled. After only 3 weeks in bottled tasted superb. Fellow real ale enthusiasts could not believe it was home brewed (even wanted to inspect the bottles). Slight floral aroma that has mellowed with age. By far the best home brew kit I have tried (and I have tried many)! |

Good so farMade this one up as per instructions. It probably stayed in primary for 3 weeks prior to bottling. The SG failed to go any lower than 1020 which was a bit disappointing. I would use Safele SO4 next time round. Anyway, I tried a bottle of this last night - it hadn't really cleared but could tell it was reasonably well carbed. I was very surprised by the taste, delicious and will no doubt get better and better. Would be interested to see what SG's others got with this kit. I didnt take an OG but reckon this is about 5.5% to 6$ alc. |

Excellent beerMy return to home brew after a gap of 30ish years, (last ones were Geordie and Boots beer kits in UK). This one is superb. Just followed instructions, no extras. Ferment temps around 20 - 24oC, (Perth Sept). Fantastic beer at 2 weeks (couldn't resist any longer), and just getting better with time. Well worth the premium price. |

Muntons PGold Smugglers PremiumAs per instructions. No need for any variations. My favourite beer. Brewed 7 days @ 24deg. Could drink straight away.4 months on mellowing beautifully. I don't drink this everyday it's for savouring every now and again. Looking forward to it at 1 year. |

Nothin' else like itThis one grabs you by the throat - most potent hop and malt I've encountered in a normal weight ale. Pricey, but its in 2 tins so you can split a pack with a bootlegger. Brewed per instructions. At 6 months it's still changing and mellowing. You won't want one every day but it's not an experience to be missed. |

First in best dressedThis was my first ever homebrew experience. Steeped some crystal and FWH some Williamette, also dry hopped with williamette. Fermeneted with safale yeast for one week and left in primary fermentor for another 2 before bottling. Quite dark in colour, well balanced sweetness and bitterness. Good hop aroma and flavour, good creamy head clings to the glass well. nice caramel flavours evident. A good drop. |
