Coopers Canadian BlondeWell I tried the Coopers Canadian Blonde
with a few additives and came up with a
real nice beer. Started with Coopers
malt extract pack, added 500gr. light
dry malt, also 250gr. dextrose &
250gr.corn syrup. Used coopers yeast
supplied and added 20gr of hersbrucker
hops four days into fermentation after
20 minute boil. Fermented out at low end
of temp. scale 18-20 degrees, not hard
with those temps in Tassie, OG 1042 FG
1008. Kegged in fridge for four days
then filtered and gassed over three
days. Good head retention stuck to the
sides of the glass. Didn't last long as
everyone got stuck into it, so making a
couple of more batches same recipe. All
round a very pleasing beer. |
