Oranje Bock | February 24th 2014
Surprisingly goodMade this one to spec using homemade dark Belgium candy sugar. At first I was concerned because the hydrometer was reading 1.02 when I bottled but I think my my hydrometer is off. After about 2 month conditioning I cracked one open and it's very dark with a brownish head that lasts. A bit strong but has some depth to it and now homebrew twang at all. Very satisfied and plan on trying it again. |

Morgans Golden Saaz Pilsener | October 23rd 2013
Has potentialmy friends liked it a lot but I didn't. Made it up with 1.5 kg of light malt extract, 500 g of corn sugar and 12 g of saz hops. Came out way too sweet for my taste even though hydrometer was at .016. Seemed to be lacking in hops as well. I blame the yeast on this one. I give it a 3 with potential for 4 |

Black Rock Nut Brown Ale | June 19th 2013
Pretty goodUsed this with 1kg of regular malt extract 500g of mizuame and 15g of Fuggles. head retention was fantastic and flavor got better and better with time. Only problem was a slight metalic twang in the aftertaste. Dont know what caused it but I still think it was a great beer. Will brew again |

Coopers Original Lager | June 19th 2013
Ughh.... nastymy first brew ever. I can still remember the taste. Brewed it per directions using dextrose and my god it came out horrible. Tasted like alcoholic water. No head retention or lasting flavor. It didnt even taste like a beer. I'm all for Coopers, but Im not following those instructions ever again. All malt from here on out. |
