Golden head- lovely beerMy all time favourite. Made straight up with dex 1kg and Safale- fermented hot, maybe 28 to 32 degrees. Bulk primed 200 gms dex- good after 1 week, fantastic after two, maybe losing a little bit of its hoppiness by week three. Lovely rich nutty caramel flavours- very long rich finish- no burnt stout like flavours at all. Easy to make, can't go wrong f you love dark meaty ale! Even my wife who isn't really a drinker loves it. Murray |
