love additions

With the additions of 150g Munich grain (65C for 30 minutes and then sparged) 50g Saaz (combined with the grains)and 25g Amarillo hops (dry hopped)this was killer. It had a fantastic citrus hop taste. I like a really hoppy IPA and this met my requirements. This beer was great after two weeks but at 2 months the taste, smell, bubble size and head were more then I could have asked for. This was a very easy beer with great results.

Pale plus

Guy in shop recommended adding 150g of crystle grains. No other additives. After 6 weeks: A very hoppy brew. Maybe a bit too malty; But a very nice brew.

Hoppy Pale

Made this using a lager yeast as temps were still a bit cold, not bad a little over the top with hops cant drink young after three months it mellows, used it to make chilli beer, is a good base for that atleast. Probably wont make it again.

More like a mild

Brewed this as directed with the included Safale at around 22-24 C. Found the end result a bit darker than expected, but still drinkable. I would consider this more a mild rather than a pale ale. Not bad, but there are others I would prefer.

X-TRACT Pale 3kg

Made as usual. S04 yeast. Kegged. Didnt like it. Too much hops. Very unbalanced.
