Good for kit beerI did this kit beer to keep my Aussie Megaswill drinking buddies happy. Not to far off the major brand names in terms of profile, but with much more flavour ( good for craft beer appreciation - a bit scary for megaswill drinkers !!) Made with Ultrabrew no. 1 which has Malt, Dextrose and Malto-Dextrose - yeast was safale US05 for clean flavour. Hops in can was a bonus! Easy to make, good megaswill replacement - quite sweet |

Heineken Knock-offUsed the kit plus 500g light dried malt, and 250 each of dextrose and maltodextron. Added 12g of Tettnanger hops after a 10 minute steep in boiling water. Yeast was Saflager. Fermentation would have been 17'C average. Came out with a beautifully clear, well bodied, flavoursome beer! Held its head very nicely, and was probably one of my best so far. No hesitations in making again. 5 star brew. |

SensationalHave brewed this 3 times and each time I think it can't get better. Latest brew was fermented with 1kg of body brew and 12gm of Hallertau finishing hops. Was allowed to mature 3 months in bottle and is outstanding. ^ months old bottle of this brew is absolutely out of this world. |

Sensational LagerJust sampled above brew afetr 3 months in bottle. Absolutely SENSATIONAL! Kit was brewed with 1kg light dry malt, Hallertau finishing hops and Saflager S23 yeast, then bulk primed. Everything that you want a lager to be. Can hardly wait to get my next one in the fermenter. |

Choc lagerMade this beer as per country brewers recipie used 1kg of lite/dark, 12grams of super alpha hops standard method, plus 150grams of choc grain steeped. Very nice beer the flavour of the grain comes through nicely. Used yeast provided, 1 week in primary then racked to secondary for 1 week then bottled. Would make again for sure. |
