P2No deviation from the instructions, very little clean up...the "paint can " wort has made an excellent lime catcher...but the taste and aroma is great.... it has all of the choc caramel expected and does make for excellent drinking...now I need an excuse for an open fire and dark choc. |

Well worth itThis didn't last long. Probably could have done with a touch more hop flavour for my tastes, but probably true to style. |

Absolutely BrilliantFollowed instructions to the letter only difference being that i added 25 grams of Fuggles dry hopped into fermenter.Used supplied yeast Safale s-04. Fermented in primary for 12 days, secondary for 10 days at 18 degrees, filtered then kegged.Beautiful full flavoured beer, deep roast colour that held a good head. Will defianately do again. |

SuperbIf this beer is any indication, the good people at TCB are nigh on geniuses. Followed the directions - boiling, steeping, hopping, cooling and using supplied yeast - and the result is an eye opener for those of us who have never tried these 'kits' before. Taste after 6 weeks is brilliant, quite dark for a Porter, but beautiful with smokey/roasted flavours, plenty of body, lovely coffee coloured head and it's not even Winter! Can't recommend highly enough, super keen to try the rest of the Wetpack range now. |
