Best easy drinkingBest easy drinking kit, very underrated! Like to make it as a low carb and low gluten brew with just 500g dextrose, dry enzime and dry hop with galaxy, chinook, or tettanger for a great never fail thurst quencher! Really cant go wrong with this kit as a basic or triple hoped pale ale, have done with s04 yeast, 15g cluster, 15g armorillo and 15g wiiliamette and 1.5kg morgans liquid wheat malt as a james squire 150 lashes clone with great results too, supplied yeast is very good too! |

Better than Coopers Canadian Blonde but watery!Brewed with kit yeast and Coopers brew enhancer 2 at 22 to 24 degrees Celsius for 2 weeks then bottled. Left for 4 months. Beer was exactly the same colour as a Corona! Brew carbonated very well but had a really, really watery mouth feel! Had a strange aroma, not unlike Coopers Canadian Blonde and its taste did not improve at all over time. Tasted not unlike a Coopers Canadian Blonde but it had HEAPS more guts (more of a beer flavour) but surprisingly less mouth feel. I suspect this was from the Coopers brew enhancer 2 and would be keen to know if anyone else has had success with any other additives. I think with some tweaking this could be the best lager kit on the market! Proper larger yeast maybe? Something to thicken the mouth feel? Please experiment and post a review. |

morgans canadian blondeI did this brew about 2 years ago when I was looking to do a pale US style ale. From my records I did this with 1kg of LDM and for the first time 'AMORILLO' hops, about 20gms for 15mins & 10gms @ flame out with 300gms of the LDM. It came out quite full flavored when it was fresh from the keg. I used a US05 yeast. I dont know why you would want to brew a Corona style beer? But if your looking for more body and mouthfeel mabey try those viagra wankers! No offence GroovyG but they PISS ME OFF. |

Easy to chugUsed standard kit, fermented at 22 degrees celcius for 7 days, didnt bother with a rack. This beer has no body but has enough bitterness to offset the lack of body. Excellent beer to swig on a hot summer day. Could do with flavouring and aroma hops. |

Still GreatAs I ran out of grain I thought it was time to visit the kit I remember being the best back when I was doing kits. Am glad to report this one is still a cracker, very light in colour and taste so you could easily drink it all afternoon (and morning/night) Mixed with 500 dex / 250 dme / 250 maltodex and 10 grams halleratu and 10 grams of tettanger in hop tea. Used wyeast danish lager. |

Canadian lightExcellent brew, My house beer at the moment. Boil until hot break.cool via wort chiller until 65f, usually use yeast provided after proofing, brew at 65 - 68f for 1 week and 2 weeks in secondary, bring to 1010 or less than bottle/keg. Nothing but great results with this brew. |

Easy DrinkingI found this to be a very each drinking summer beer, very low on bitterness but a good kit to add extras too. Very nice with Tettnanger or Hallertau Hops |
