Still availableThe lads at Still Brewing still sell this by post. Used the kit to dress up a Coopers draught and it is still a winner. Love the bitter aromatic finish. |

brilliantMade this up to 23l using grumpys 25IBU extra pale extract with Wyeast 1272. Fermented around 18c for one week in primary. Added 2 kilos of strawberries to secondary and left it for another week then bottled. I had people tell me I should put this beer on the market they enjoyed it so much. |

Best Kit Beer.As last reviewer has mentioned. No need to do anything. Order a Masterbrew bag, and a can of hopped extract from Grumpys. Medium bittered is my choice usually. Turns out to be a fantastic, hoppy, medium ale. Have just done a Boston Cream, with a 2.5 kilo of grain partial mash, instead of a can of extract. Boy i cant wait. Will post up review when available. |

Great beerMade as per the instructions on the packet, along with a tin of Coopers Draught and a Wyeast 1272 American Ale II smackpack. Turned out great, great hoppy flavour and getting better with age. |

Brilliant!Made it up using Grumpys LOW IBU extract with the included Safale S-33 yeast at around 21-23 degrees. Bottled straight from primary. Very popular with everyone whom tasted it. The only problem with this beer is keeping everyone else away from it so you can drink some yourself! |

Delightfully fruity pale aleMade this to intructions with yeast supplied with medium hopped kit (Safale I think). Best kit beer I've made ever with very little fuss. Light and fruity with just enough sweetness. Great value for money even though postage is $15 to NSW. |

Boston CreamyMade with WLP041 Pacific Ale yeast at about 20*C. Instructions are straightforward and pretty easy to follow. Very drinkable after a couple of weeks, nice, gentle aroma and flavour. An easy introduction to more heavily hopped beers for some, or just right for others (including SWMBO). |

beautifulBC + Grumpy High IBU (30) extract, lager yeast SAF 34/70, 23 liters, 10 days primary, 5 days secondary, OG 1044, FG 1014. Tastes absolutely gorgeous, my best HB so far (it was my 8th, made a few grumpy's lagers since, not tried yet), I'll definitely order at least 2 more to brew with an ale yeast in spring, for summer. |

Grumpys BOSTON CREAMThis is 3rd on my list from Grumpys, everyone who trys it, loves it [so far], always done [for my taste] with Wyeast 1332,1056 and also great with 1007 German [best at 18c for this one] also used a Coopers Canadian Blond kit as extract for one brew which was very good, all the others done with Grumpys light extract for 21lt, 6g/lt bulk primed. |

Top dropGreat beer. Made it with WLP Liquid Californian Ale Yeast with a 2 minute finishing hop boil of the included packet. Racked for 2 weeks. Very clear, very flavoursome beer. Easily better than any mass produced beer. The hops and the malt go well together in this mix. I will be making lots more of this one. |

Fantastic. Simple up front, complex in depthThis is a wonderful ale. Clever and balanced citrusy refreshment. Initially there is strong grapefruit on the palate which in itself is wonderfully refreshing. Let the brew age however, and it becomes a great beer with a range of fantastic flavours. Grumpy's standard issue is with a Safale S-33, which makes it easy and great value for effort. 2 yeasts to recommend. The Wyeast 1056 emphasises the citrus, and the Wyeast 1272 balances the citrus with soft fruitiness. Either result is a winner. |

BostonBrewed with Safale yeast at 18C for 7 days then CCed at 2C for 7 days, used low IBU Grumpy extract. Lovely clear beer if left alone for a while ( difficult to do)Very nice after taste! Am currently fermenting another 4 batches as we speak |

Boston Cream - 1st Brew.Tried this as my first ever brew. Followed the instructions that came with the bag to the word. Used safe ale yeast. Bottled from Primary. Result was an excellent beer, of a standard much higher than most commercial beer locally available in Australia. Happy camper here. Now hooked on brewing!!! |
