Coles selloutI bought 5 cans of this for $4.66 each since they decided to discontinue their homebrew range. New to brewing, I made one by the book as my second brew. Coopers BE2 and supplied yeast, after 9 weeks in the bottle it it very drinkable. Definitely tastes like homebrew but it's not terrible by any standard. No head retention unfortunately but it is bubbly enough to be considered beer. |

Toucan Farmland DraughtBought two cans of this on special and made up a QCN [quick, cheap & nasty] brew. Added 12g Hallertau after steeping for 10 minutes or so, and used both kit yeasts. Surprisingly good after 3 weeks in the bottle - a dark, heavy bodied beer with a creamy head and solid bitterness. For 50c a longneck you can't go wrong! 3 stars. |

Cheap at half the pricePicked up 2 cans of this on special and set myself a challenge to make it drinkable. Simply chucked both cans in with 30g Cascade and 12g US-05 yeast to make a very cheap toucan. Fermented at 19c for 7 days, gassed it up in the keg and was drinking it 2 days later. Came out amazingly clear with a great head and is surprisingly drinkable. This is a great everyday brew for less than $20 all up. |
