Excellent BeerTotal 5L water added, OG 1040 FG 1010, extra 12g cascade boiled for 15 mins, 12g cascade at end steeped for 15 mins. Used supplied yeast (Safale 56), bottled day 8. After 6 weeks, the resulting beer was very good: A fresh tasting beer with excellent colour, OK head, moderate bitterness, and light hops flavour and aroma. Probably add more aroma hops next time |

Kegg Filler 2000Brewed the kit topped up to 20 litres. Added Cascade hops pitches WLP001 California Ale yeast. Great beer. Even easier than a kit and kilo and 10 times as good. |

Excellent againCracked open a 10 day old ESB Fresh Wort APA last night. Bloody terrific as usual. Used Wyeast 1056 slurry from a Grumpys Boston Cream. Boiled up 20gms amarillo hops for 20 mins in hop bag. Poured the tea into primary. 7 days primary then 5 days in secondary with 12gms Hallertau pellets loose. Bulk primed with dextrose. Excellent, simple, quick and bloody tasty. Cheers Steve |

LCPA CloneFantastic beer. I have probably done about 6 of these. Pour the wort into the fermenter, boil up 25-30gms Cascade hops in muslin bag for 15 mins, pour the tea into fermenter through a sieve, pour a couple of litres of cold water through hops whilst muslin bag is in seive. Full up to 23l, sprinkled 1056 American Pale Ale dry yeast on top, seal. Bottled after 7 days in primary, beautiful after 10 days. My 28 longnecks dont see the month out. Has to be my favourite. So simple. |
