Black Rock East India Pale Ale | May 3rd 2010 | |
what do you call itrecipe 1.1l Blonde Black Rock Malt extract 1.5l Black rock East India Pale Ale 250g Crystal Grain 1kg Coopers Dextrose 15g Goldings 6.5% Finishing Hops 50g Mt Hood 5.3% Hop Pellets 1pkt Muntons Premium Gold active Yeast 1 pkt Black rock Yeast Starter og 1060 fg 1018 abv 5.6% The frementation gave me a hard time taking 12 days in total 22-25C being maintained. Bottles have now had 2 weeks secondary fermentation the early results look very promissing, a very pronounced alcohol front taste which developes into an easy pale ale no real bitterness that was expected but will make a great winters ale, definitly not a summer session beer. |
