Absolutely AwesomeTried using this kit to make an Irish Milk Stout (recommended by LHBS). Combined with 1kg Choclate Malt, 500g Dry Dark Malt Extract, 500g Dextrose, 250g Corn Starch, 250g Lactose. Used Wheat Malt to prime in bottles and two weeks later is better than any dark commercial beer I've ever had. Has fantastic dark flavours, moderate caramel flavour with a hint of burnt mocha. Head is great, slightly browned, and quite heavy body and mouthfeel. |
