yum yumI brewed this according to the standard kit instructions and served from a keg. Absolutely beautiful - no homebrew 'twang' whatsoever. Fruity hop balanced by malt, great session beer. You won't be disappointed by this. Best brew I've done to date. |

Lovely! This spent 2 weeks in my FV, perhaps watered down a little too much at 23/4l, at 22 degrees. Got 3 dzen pints, primed with a quarter teaspoon of muscovado. Tasted this after only a week in the bottle and it was most enjoyable. It's nearly fully cleared too, and will be a most quaffable ale for the summer. I'm not one to best describe taste but it's got plenty of nose and a nice bitter finish. The head at the moment is poor enough, but Woodeford's heads improve with age. And, it's aonly a week ood old! Great kit, I'll be doing it again, but this time with 20l for a "kickier" ale. My version gets 4 stars, next time I'm sure it'll be 5, because it really is a 5 star kit. |

nelsons revengeMade as per isntructions except to approx 30 pint level. Fermented for 3 weeks in primary at 19C. Bottled 4 weeks. This kit is absolutly simple to make and ther results stand up to an All grain brew ( maybe could be improved with some dry hopping). Fantastic result best kit i ever made |

Superb 3 kilo Malt kitThis is my favourite session bitter... A full-bodied (4.9%) pale amber beer with the rich flavour of Dundee cake. Sultana fruitiness & a wonderful honey aroma is balanced by a hoppy bitterness, to give a full, but light feel. The finish continues to develop into a warm, mellow glow. With no added sugar needed, this kit couldn't be simpler, just add water & stir in the yeast packet. This beer is perfectly balanced, therefore no need for lengthy bottling or kegging... |
