Absolute Cracker!Brewed to directions including 60 minute boil. This was fermented for one week in primary then racked to a secondary for two weeks at mid to low teens (Celcius). Cleared with finings 24hrs prior to bottling. This beer took about 5 weeks to adequately carbonate in the bottle which had me a little worried at first. This was probably because there was little yeast in the bottle intially due to the use of finings. Six weeks after bottling this beer is sensational. Beautiful mid amber colour, malty, with a fresh, crisp saaz finish. This kit is more expensive than most at A$38 but it is definitely worth it. My best kit yet. Highly reccomended. |

Quite TastyBrewed with Country Brewer Brew Booster: 500g dextrose, 250g light malt, 250g Maltodextrin, and country brewer, Czech Saaz Hops 12g. Fermentation around 22 degrees C. Left for 2 1/2 for fermentation and tried it after 2 weeks in bottle, taste was Very hoppy, bitter, good carbonation, not keeping head good and a bit cludy at the bottom of bottle, taste after 1 month was just beautiful a perfect beer for a warm day!!! |
